We are proud to support Ørsted on the Energy transition with the JB117!
Ørsted has installed the first foundation for the largest wind turbines in German waters! And reached a major milestone in the construction of our offshore wind farm Gode Wind 3 in Germany where we’ve now successfully installed the very first foundation. Gode Wind 3 is one of two projects Ørsted constructing in the German North Sea, and together with Borkum Riffgrund 3, it will be able to produce enough green energy to power the equivalent of one million German homes.
These two projects combined will have a total of 106 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 11 MW. With a rotor diameter of 200 meters, they’ll be the largest offshore wind turbines in the German North Sea to date. A big thank you to all the teams involved for their great work!
