    As our Commercial Director, you will shape our strategic direction. You will lead the organisation to new successes by expanding existing markets and developing new opportunities. You can translate ambitions into realistic plans, and you inspire colleagues from different disciplines to deliver on them. You ensure that market opportunities don’t just stay on paper but are turned into operational reality. Together with the Managing Director, you will develop, implement, and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and sustainable client relationships.

    Your role

    • Responsible for the commercial department, including direct supervision and coaching of the Commercial Manager and Tender Coordinator
    • Close collaboration with operations, engineering & asset integrity, procurement & logistics, crewing, and QHSE
    • Reporting to the Managing Director

    Key responsibilities

    • Actively approach and visit potential clients worldwide to generate new business
    • Build, maintain, and expand strong client and partner relationships across all relevant global markets
    • Develop and execute commercial and business development strategies in line with company objectives
    • Lead, coach, and inspire the commercial team
    • Identify, assess, and realise new market opportunities, partnerships, and contracts
    • Manage the tender process
    • Negotiate, draft, and manage complex commercial contracts (including BIMCO, charter agreements, EPC)
    • Manage contractual risks, including monitoring and mitigating LDs and claims
    • Manage commercial budgets and optimise margins
    • Ensure compliance with HSE objectives

    Who you are

    Education, knowledge & experience

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business-related or technical discipline
    • Extensive experience in a similar role within the maritime, offshore, oil & gas, or renewable energy industry
    • Proven track record in developing and executing commercial strategies
    • Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience (preferably BIMCO)
    • Excellent knowledge of market analysis, financial management, and operational processes
